27th International Congress of Mathematicians took place in Seoul, Korea Aug 13–21 2014. The following members of the Steklov Institute gave their talks at the Congress:

Alexander Kuznetsov, Invited Section 45 min. talk «Semiorthogonal decompositions in algebraic geometry» in section «Algebraic and Complex Geometry»;
Alexander Pechen, Short Communication «Recent advances in quantum control» in section «Mathematical Physics»;
Vladimir Vatutin, Short Communication «Macroscopic and microscopic structures of the family tree for a critical decomposable branching process» in section «Probability and Statistics».
